The tree is moderately growing. It will be a simple tree with overhanging branches and small leaves. The wood has medium resistance to scab, mildew and cancer. Is receptive to sodplet and fly spot. There is a tendency for biennial bearing, which can be counteracted by thinning and pruning. The tree is fruitful if it gets optimum growth condition with shelter and fertilization.
It has an fine apple quality. It does not contain so much acid, thereby achieving a more sweet taste. It is very crisp and juicy. It recalls the Gala but are more firm and juicy. It has a greenish-yellow ground color with red color of 50-75%. The apples are large and have an attractive and smooth skin.
It is harvested one week after Elstar late September and holds up well even under less favorable storage conditions. The apple can hang long on the tree.
